Overview
JJA Snack invites school children on an exciting journey, tracking the chocolate-making process. This hands-on experience offers unique insights into engineering principles, making learning not only educational but also deliciously fun.
During the experience, students will explore the factory with JJA Pack's chocolatiers and learn how chocolate is sourced and made. They'll also sample unique flavour combinations in an interactive tasting session and get creative by decorating their own chocolate bar to take home.

Additionally, JJA Snack offers T-level students the chance to gain practical experience working with professional chocolate-handling equipment, enhancing their skills and preparing them for real-world applications.

The Chocolate making experience is held at the JJA Pack factory in Barnsley.
Duration
Allow up to 1.5 hours.
Capacity and cost
- The Chocolate making experience is available for groups of 2 to 18 people
- For group bookings, the cost for both adults and children taking part in the experience is £10.50 per person
- Adults accompanying the group who do not participate in making a chocolate bar are welcome to wait in the reception area free of charge
- The experience is also available for individuals, priced at £12.50 for the person taking part
