Get support to engage you students in STEM
We're delighted that Neon and Big Bang are featured in Department for Education's (DfE) enrichment framework, helping teachers plan engaging STEM activities for their students.

The enrichment framework from DfE offers a brilliant opportunity to boost STEM enrichment in your school. As enrichment becomes more established as a standard part of every student’s education, it’s an even more powerful way to engage your students in STEM.
EUK Education has always focused on giving students experiences beyond the classroom – from project-based learning and meeting STEM professionals to workshops led by teachers and facilitators. It also includes 230+ brilliant activities from STEM companies and activity providers on Neon. The breadth of STEM is reflected in the range of activities on Neon, from online and remote sessions to live workshops and offsite visits. You can also explore what’s happening near your school or filter by year group, making it easier to find experiences that truly fit your students.
We don’t charge for any of our activities and resources, and you can find many free enrichment opportunities on Neon. We also offer bursaries, which means eligible schools can apply for £700 to support inspiring, hands-on STEM engagement. The deadline is 20 July, so why not see if you can secure funds to host a Big Bang at School next year?
Our activities support STEM knowledge and digital literacy as well as softer skills such as problem solving, teamwork and communication. And because we know STEM skills are critical to tackling global issues, we have activities and resources to support climate education and projects around sustainability. Taking part in STEM careers activities boosts young people’s knowledge of and interest in engineering and technology careers.
You’ll see Neon mentioned in the list of sector resources (and a name check for Big Bang – yay!) for planning your enrichment activities. We hope you find something brilliant!
